Alpacas have been raised in Canada since 1992; however the New Brunswick alpaca industry and Maritime industry is much younger. 

In 2010, the New Brunswick Alpaca Association was formed in order to assist producers in marketing the growing local alpaca industry.

Our focus is to raise awareness of alpacas and the luxurious products that their unique fibre can provide. 

In the future we also intend to provide educational opportunities for producers, as knowledge of these beautiful creatures is always expanding and evolving as further research is conducted.
